P.O. POJE is a local producer from the island of Vis who, through two distinct lines of work, connects viticulture, natural cosmetics, and island botany: Bunčić Wines and RAAR cosmetics. Their story originates from the Vis region – from vineyards, aromatic Mediterranean herbs, olive oil, lavender, immortelle, St. John's wort, and other ingredients that have been part of island life for centuries.

In the wine production segment, Bunčić Wines continue the Vis viticultural tradition through wines that carry a strong local character. The wine stands out particularly Voščice white, connected to the eponymous Vis location, and in available descriptions, it is referred to as a wine made from locally important white varieties such as Kuč, Kurtelaška, and Maraština/Rukatac. Such wines demonstrate how closely Vis vineyards are tied to the island's micro-regions: fields, barren land, stone, sun, herbs, and salty air that shape a distinctive island expression.

Another important part of their work is RAAR cosmetics, natural and organic cosmetics, essential oils, and hydrosols. Their official profiles highlight products such as face creams, body oils, serums, soaps, and preparations inspired by Mediterranean herbs and island ingredients. RAAR cosmetics thus continues the ancient connection between humans and plants: what grew in gardens, fields, dry stone walls, and rocky slopes on Vis is now transformed into small-batch skincare products.

The uniqueness of P.O. POJE lies precisely in this dual story: wine and natural cosmetics are seemingly different products, but they are connected by the same source – the Vis landscape. Grapevines, aromatic herbs, dry summers, rocky soil, and island isolation create products that cannot be made just anywhere. Their work is therefore not just production, but also a way of preserving local knowledge, small batches, craftsmanship, and authentic island tastes and scents.

P.O. POJE – RAAR cosmetics, Bunčić wines are a fine example of how island agriculture can develop in multiple directions, connecting tradition with contemporary needs. Through wines, natural cosmetics, essential oils, and hydrosols, this producer showcases Vis as a place of strong botanical, viticultural, and landscape distinctiveness.
