Nina Zanki's artisanal workshop from Komiža has been operating for ten years as a small island producer recognized for products made exclusively from resources from the island of Vis. Since its inception, it has carried the designation HOP – Croatian Island Product, and through years of work and cooperation with the local community, it has also become an official partner of the Vis Archipelago Geopark.

The uniqueness of this artisanal workshop lies in its careful use of local ingredients and traditional Vis flavors. The offer includes numerous types of jams with various flavors, candied fruit, dried orange and lemon peel for cakes and desserts, pickled samphire and capers in wine vinegar, and tapenade – an olive spread with anchovies and capers. These are products that rely on what the Vis landscape naturally provides: citrus fruits, figs, carob, olives, capers, samphire, and other Mediterranean herbs and fruits.

Through its collaboration with the Vis Archipelago Geopark, Nina Zanki's artisanal workshop has also become part of the GEOfoodproject, an international initiative that connects local food with UNESCO Global Geopark areas. This further emphasizes the connection between the products, the region they come from, and the local heritage they represent.

Nina Zanki's artisanal workshop has participated in numerous national and international fairs, where its products have been recognized by visitors, customers, and hospitality establishments. The products of this small Komiža workshop can also be found in hospitality establishments throughout Croatia, allowing the flavors of Vis to continue traveling beyond the island, while retaining their authenticity and local character.
